What time and on what days do you fly?
We let our passengers determine what times they wish to fly and
we do everything in our power to fly when they wish. Our normal business hours
for FLIGHTS ONLY are 8am-6pm Monday – Saturday and Noon - pm on Sundays. We are open 7 days a
week and will do our best to accommodate our clients’ needs. Customers always
come first. Note: These are not the hours of Nubian Knights or
Corporate Tours general offices. These times are for the flight schedules.
Is flying safe?
Safety is always first no matter what. Our
pilots are all accident and incident free and we have a 100% safety record. All
our pilots are trained beyond the rating they currently hold and most of them
are Certified Flight Instructors as well as Commercial Helicopter Pilots.
Can I bring my
video camera and/or still camera?
Of course and we encourage it. The Robinson R44 provides a very
smooth ride and since every seat has a window, you will have pictures that will
last a lifetime. If you take any great footage that you would like to share with
us, let us know and we will put them up on our web site or put them in the
office. You can never have enough pictures…
Do we share the helicopter with other passengers?
Since we only reserve the helicopter for tours with a minimum of
two people, the helicopter will be used with your party and no other passengers.
We want you to enjoy your tour with no other distractions so consider the
helicopter yours until we get back on the ground.
How far in advance should I reserve the helicopter or make my appointment?
We request that our passengers book as far in advance as
possible. Our tour business has really picked up and we would like for you to be
able to fly at the time you desire. If you are looking to schedule the
helicopter for a birthday, anniversary or special occasion, try to call us well
in advance so we can make special arrangements.
What time do I
need to arrive for my helicopter tour?
We prefer that all passengers arrive 15 minutes prior to their
scheduled time of departure. This will give us a chance to pre-flight all the
passengers on the safety issues concerning the helicopter.
What if the weather is bad the day of my flight?
If the weather does not cooperate the day of your helicopter
tour, the flight will be rescheduled for a time that is convenient for you.
There will be no charge for flights rescheduled due to inclement weather.
How many passengers can fly in the helicopter?
The Robinson R44 is a 4-Place helicopter with window seats for 3 people.
Can you pick us up somewhere other than Peachtree-Dekalb Airport?
Absolutely! We will be glad to pick you up anywhere we have
permission and a place that will give us plenty of room to land the helicopter.
Please don’t forget that there is an additional charge for picking up passengers
off airport.
Will the pilot talk to us during the flight?
Yes, the pilot will talk to you and point out all the
surroundings of the tour that you have chosen. All passengers will be wearing
headsets so you are also able to talk amongst yourselves in the helicopter.
Can we bring Champagne to have during the flight?
Yes, but just don’t hit the pilot in the head with the cork.
