Pearl Harbor

DAY 4 - Pearl Harbor

When you arrive at the Arizona Memorial National Park, first view a dramatic film containing actual footage of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Then board the official Navy boat to the Arizona Memorial. At the Memorial, you will visit the Shrine Room and reflect on the names of 1,177 men resting on the sunken battleship below.

Browse through the fascinating Arizona Memorial WWII Museum exhibits and visit the gift shop where you can find WWII books, souvenirs, and memorabilia.

Once your trip to the memorial is complete we will take you to Aloha Stadium, home of the Aloha Flea Market. Hundreds of local vendors will be there to offer souvenirs and Hawaiian memorabilia. This is the perfect place to pick up something for your friends and family back home!

Pearl Harbor is located one block from the Aloha Stadium.  Admission is free.  Thus, it will cost you nothing for this trip.

We will go to Pearl Harbor First and then to the Flea Market.  All for $1.50 one-way bus ride.

The USS Arizona Memorial located at Pearl Harbor Hawaii, is an enclosed bridge which spans
the hull of the sunken USS Arizona. The hull resting on the bottom of the harbor is visible in
this photograph. The memorial was dedicated on May 30, 1962 as a tribute to the more than
1100 men who went down with the ship on December 7, 1941.  Their bodies are still in the ship.
